"Building Brain Capital in the Age of AI"

Speaker card for the Calm Health webinar Building Brain Capital in the Age of AI, August 2026, featuring Krystal Sexton
Building Brain Capital in the Age of AI, Calm Health, August 2026 · Calm Health

Krystal joined Calm Health for "Building Brain Capital in the Age of AI" on August 26, 2026, in conversation with Chris Carey, General Manager and SVP of Product at Calm Health, and Dr. Chris Mosunic, Calm Health's Chief Clinical Officer.

The session put a working definition of brain capital in front of a benefits and digital-health audience. Brain capital is the combination of brain health and brain skills, the cognitive, mental, and emotional assets that drive judgment, creativity, adaptability, and empathy at work. The conversation traced how that asset connects to the mental-health programs employers already run, and what a brain-positive culture asks of an organization beyond the programs themselves.

The AI framing is the reason the question is live now. As machines absorb routine work, what remains is disproportionately the work healthy human brains do well, and adoption itself raises the load on attention, decision-making, and recovery at the same time it raises the value of those capacities.

Audience: benefits, HR, and digital-health leaders across the Calm Health ecosystem.
